The Interfaith Broadcasting Commission (IBC) is composed of four member faith groups—the National Council of Churches, The Jewish Theological Seminary, the Southern Baptist Broadcast Communications Group, and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).

Since 1980, the IBC has been committed to providing quality religious television programming to three of the major networks in the United States—ABC, CBS, and NBC. Through their involvement in the IBC, the Catholic Bishops’ of the United States (through the CCC) have had the opportunity to distribute their programs—and the Good News of the Gospel—to a national audience.

Programs provided to the networks by the IBC are aired at the discretion of their local affiliate stations—on ABC, as part of the “Vision & Values” series and on NBC, as part of the “Horizons of the Spirit” series. Please contact your local stations to find out if, and when, these programs will air in your area, noting the series name as well as the program title.
