Question of the Month  Take Action

Poverty USA, Population 33,000,000. It's the second largest state in America. And every resident is struggling to get out.

The state of poverty in America is bigger than Texas, Florida or New York - but you won't find it on any map. It holds more people than Connecticut, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey and Nevada combined. It is home to one out of every eleven families in America. It is home to one out of every six children in America. It is home to more than 33 million people trapped within its boundaries. CCHD is working to break the cycle of poverty in America.
