Rich has agreed to serve on the planning committee for the ride because he has a bit of experience. In the Summer of 2001, Rich and his wife, Cindy, rode from Washington, D.C. to Florence, Oregon. He learned a few things that might be useful to those who will do the ride in the Summer of 2003. And he hopes to be among the riders, for at least a few of those miles!
