Steve Henry
Having cycled across the continent twice, including a trip from Anchorage, AK to Key west, Florida, Steve knows what it takes to cross the country on two wheels. He has also organizaed triathlons, planned adventure travels excursions, and led backcountry bicycle and backpack tours. Steve is pleased to use the talents he has developed to help reduce the disappointing and baffling level of poverty in the richest society the planet has ever known.
While crossing the continent on his bike, Steve was constantly amazed at the everyday kindnesses bestowed upon him by the folks whose country he was traversing. He sees serving on the planning committee as a way to return the world the generosity shown to him, and hopes to ride with the team a few days under the blue skies of his home state, Kansas.
