Why is Cassandra particpating?
I am participating in this incredible spiritual journey for many reasons. The most important reason, however, is deeply spiritual and personal. I have recently had a close up look at poverty in my own town and I have vowed to myself that NO child should have to live in that kind of environment. We can help change this and I want to be a vital part of this task force. My God has given me the courage, the compassion, the desire and the empathy to face poverty head on. Riding my bike with Brake the Cycle makes me part of a team. It's "teamwork" that will work on solving this epidemic problem. It's my genuine love for my fellow man/woman/child that makes each pedal revolution significant. It's all about God, Christianity and Love. And so.........we ride on!
