Ray H. Siegfried II
Ray H. Siegfried II is Chairman of The Board of The NORDAM Group, an international aviation service and manufacturing company. Siegfried acquired NORDAM out of bankruptcy in 1969. The company, which began
with eight employees, has grown to include six divisions with facilities on three continents and a staff of over
2,500. A Tulsa native, Siegfried attended the University of Notre Dame, where he was on the boxing and wrestling teams and graduated with a degree in business administration in 1965. Active in numerous civic, business, cultural and community associations, Siegfried has served on the board of directors for Embry
Riddle Aeronautical University; Oklahoma State University; University of Tulsa; American Boxing Federation; University of Portland; Tulsa Aerospace Alliance and the Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless. He also chaired the Metropolitan Tulsa Chamber of Commerce, the Tulsa Area United Way, and the Institute of Nautical Archeology at Texas A&M University. He currently serves on boards of the University of Notre Dame,
Tulsa Community Foundation, Oklahoma Aquarium Foundation and President-elect of Conquistadores del Cielo. Siegfried also serves as Chairman of the Board for the General Aviation Manufacturers Association.
In 1990, Siegfried was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame and received the "Brotherhood
Award" from the National Conference of Christians and Jews. He and his wife, Milann, were
honored with a "Humanitarian Award" from the National Jewish Medical and Research Center in
Denver, Colorado in 2000. Siegfried was awarded Notre Dame's "Man of the Year," is a recipient
of an Honorary Doctorate of Law Degree from the University of Notre Dame and received an
Honorary Doctorate Degree from University of Portland. Other recognition includes induction into
Tulsa Press Club's Headliner's Club, receipt of the Golden Knight Award and designation as the
National Management Association's "Oklahoma Manager of the Year." He has also been
recognized with an Entrepreneurial Achievement Award from the American Management
Association. Siegfried is an affiliate of St. Augustine Order of the Catholic Church and invested as
Knight in the Sovereign Military Order of Malta.
Siegfried and his wife, Milann, have six children and four grandchildren.
