NAICE 2006: Evangelizing God’s People in a Culture of Diversity July 12-15, 2006

The institute will provide a forum for Catholic leadership to come together and reflect on the essential mission of the Church and explore ways with their colleagues to foster their respective ministries through the lens of evangelization in a culture of diversity.
The Cintas Center at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Opened in 2000, the facility includes: 10,250 seat arena , a 7,700 square foot professional conference center, 650 seat banquet center and 450 seat student dining center. The Cintas Center welcomes business, social or civic and religious groups from 10-10,000 for conferences, retreats, seminars, conventions, exhibitions, banquets and receptions. NAICE 2006 will be held at Xavier University, July 12-15. It begins with the reception, opening banquet and keynote on Wednesday, July 12th 2006 and concludes with liturgy and a banquet on Saturday, July 15th. Departure is anytime on Sunday.
Designed for Church leadership on the national, diocesan and parish levels.
- Bishops, Priests and Deacons
- National, Diocesan, and Parish Lay Ecclesial Ministers: Pastoral Life Coordinators, Pastoral Associates, Directors of catechesis, adult faith formation, communications, ethnic ministries, evangelization, liturgy, RCIA, social justice, stewardship, youth, young adults, school superintendents, and principals
- College presidents, deans and seminary rectors.
Registrations will be accepted in preserving the proportionality of attendance: 50% diocesan leadership, 25% national leadership and 25% parish leadership. Number of registrations is limited to 600. the registration fee is due with the application.
All sessions are general sessions and are divided into three formats: major presentations, table discussion and cultural exchanges. Tables in the general sessions will have assigned seating which will be the same throughout the institute.

Applications will be accepted on a first come basis. The Core Team will review and notify applicants. Given the tremendous success of NAICE 2003 with over 450 participating, those considering participation in NAICE 2006 should apply as soon as possible.
The registration fee will be $250. The registration fee will cover entry to all sessions except for Friday evening which is an evening off. A special event is being planned for Friday evening as an option for participants and everyone registered will be informed of the event and its costs. Housing will be in excellent dorms at Xavier University and the costs for four night’s room and board will range from $200 for double occupancy to $300 for single occupancy.
