The Secretariat of Cultural Diversity in the Church in collaboration with the National Association of African Catholics in the United States (NAACUS) and the African Conference of Catholic Clergy and Religious in the United States (ACCCRUS) are convening the third African National Eucharistic Congress (ANEC). August 5-7, 2016 at the Catholic University of America, Conferences and Pryzbyla, 620 Michigan Avenue, NE, Washington, DC 20064.
The theme of this third African National Eucharistic Congress is “Responding to the New Evangelization: The African Catholic Family, a gift to the Church in America”. This Eucharistic Congress is a powerful witness to the world of our faith in the Eucharist and the redeeming power of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.
The African Conference of Catholic Clergy and Religious in the United States (ACCCRUS) will hold their pre-meeting August 3-5, 2016.
You are invited to attend the Congress and a special closing Eucharistic Celebration on Sunday, August 7, 2016, by 10:00 AM at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception – Crypt Church.
