Welcome
Promoting the universal call to holiness, the Secretariat of Laity, Marriage, Family Life and Youth serves one standing committee and one subcommittee for the Bishops: The Committee on Laity, Marriage, Family Life and Youth and its subcommittee: The Subcommittee on Marriage and Family.
Each committee is composed of an elected Bishop Chairman, as well as Bishop members from different parts of the country, advisors, and consultants who have particular expertise in areas of interest to the Committee. Committees are established for a term of three years and generally meet three times a year.

- Subcommittee on Marriage and Family
Including information on Men, Divorce and Remarriage, & Same sex unions
- Women in Society and in the Church
Including information about Domestic Violence, Women & Spirituality in the Workplace, and Women in Church leadership
- Youth and Young Adults
Including information on World Youth Day, Youth Ministry, (11-18) and Young Adult Ministry (18-39)
