Time Devoted to Candidate's
Spiritual Formation


On average, respondents estimate that approximately one-third of a candidate's time is devoted to spiritual formation activities. The median (midpoint) estimate is slightly lower at 25 percent of a candidate's time. In other words, half of responding program directors report that their candidates spend about a quarter of their time or less in spiritual formation and half report their candidates spend more than a quarter of their time in spiritual formation. The modal or most common response to this question is also 25 percent.
