Our mission is to present the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops to the media, and the media to the bishops. As Public Affairs staff at the USCCB, our purpose with this blog will be to report on the activities of the U.S. bishops conference and discuss those matters of the faith and the Church that we encounter in our work, especially as they appear or are discussed in the media.
Catholic News Service is a leading agency for religious news. Our mission is to report fully, fairly and freely on the involvement of the church in the world today. CNS staff members and stringers are professional journalists who adhere to ethical practices and standards of the trade.
