Darkman
-- Extremely violent action thriller in which a scientist (Liam Neeson) seeks revenge on those who hideously disfigured him with acid by using his invention of synthetic skin to assume various identities in stalking his victims. Written and directed by Sam Raimi, the movie's production values add little to its dismal parade of grisly killings and human torture. Excessive violence and some rough language. (O) (R)
