Escape to Nowhere
-- French spy thriller about a physicist (Lino Ventura) who is fleeing for his life from Soviet agents and whose only chance of survival is to trade a Soviet spy for his life. Director Claude Pinoteau has given new life to the old conventions of suspense, with menace and threat everywhere and the most ordinary places concealing potential dangers. (A-II) (PG)
