The solemnity of the Epiphany of the Lord, in which the three-fold manifestation of our great God and Lord Jesus Christ is recalled: at Bethlehem, the infant Jesus was adored by the Magi; at the Jordan, he was baptized by John, anointed by the Holy Spirit and called Son by God the Father; at the wedding in Cana of Galilee he manifested his glory by changing water into new wine.
