At London in England, Saint John Jones, priest of the Order of Friars Minor and martyr, a Welshman by birth, who became a religious in France, was condemned to die under Queen Elizabeth I because he had entered England as a priest, and, hanged in a noose unto death, completed his service in martyrdom.
