- About USCCB
Today, we remember St. John Neumann, who helped expand Catholic education in the United States in the 1800s.
In addition to promoting education, St. John Neumann was also known for his work with migrants and refugees. The US bishops' Department of Migration and Refugee Services vision statement is, "Creating a world where immigrants, migrants, refugees and people on the move are treated with dignity, respect, welcome and belonging." Do you put that motto into practice through your own words and actions?
Pray to St. John Neumann today.
Take time to familiarize yourself with the Caritas International's Share the Journey campaign and discover ways you can help share the journey of migrants and refugees in your community.
