USCCB COMMITTEES

The work of the Department is guided by the Committee on International Justice and Peace, The Committee on Domestic Justice and Human Development, and The Subcommittee on the Catholic Campaign for Human Development.

These committees meet twice a year to review issues, establish policies, and set priorities. The Domestic and International Committees meet jointly to address common issues and efforts to share Catholic social teaching and build the Church’s capacity for social mission. The CCHD Subcommittee sets policies and reviews and approves the grants of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development.
