The Social Development and World Peace Mailing List

SDWP sends regular electronic “action alerts” notifying you when an important decision is being made at the federal level on issues of domestic and international justice and peace. You’ll find out what the basic issue is, what Catholic social teaching says about the issue, and what you can do. SDWP also sends periodic electronic “issue mailings” approximately 4-5 times a year depending, to some extent, on the legislative calendar. By signing up for this electronic mailing (see below), you will receive:

  • important updates on national and international social justice issues and legislation;
  • resources from Social Development and World Peace and other USCCB offices, related national Catholic organizations, and a few other groups with similar interests;
  • copies of USCCB correspondence, articles, position statements, and testimony related to Catholic social teaching and the work of promoting social change in the domestic and international arenas.
This e-mail system will enable you to be up-to-date with the latest from the U.S. bishops on Catholic social teaching as well as policy activity and advocacy in our nation and world.
