The very fact that you are watching this video suggests that you and God are friends and that you are grateful for God’s many gifts to you. As you watch the people in these brief interviews, perhaps you will recognize your gifts in their lives. There is an old saying, “Giving your life is lifegiving.” That is true. Thank you for joining us.
After the video:
You have just seen a group of ordinary people with extraordinary dreams and a deep desire to serve God and God’s people. From Texas to Alaska, in large cities and in sparsely populated areas, in English and Spanish and in dozens of other languages, men and women live and pray and work that all of God’s people may hear the Good News of Jesus.
Do you identify with any of these priests or sisters?
Could you see yourself in ministry with any of them?
Notice the joy with which each priest or religious speaks.
Does that joy beckon you?
Each person in the video speaks of meeting needs, whether by providing services for the poor and undeserved or by going where the ministry needs are most intense.
The needs still exist! Could you see yourself meeting any of them?
If you knew that you could make a difference in our world…would you?
If you knew that God had special work for you to do…would you?
If you knew that God might answer if you asked for direction…would you?
If not, why not?
Giving your life…is lifegiving!
