A Gifted Journey: Accompanying a Person Through the Dying Experience
The National Religious Retirement Office regrets to announce the cancellation of our workshop, A Gifted Journey: Accompanying a Person Through the Dying Experience, which was originally scheduled for July 6-8 at the Carmelite Spirituality Center in Darien, Illinois. Social-distancing concerns and the uncertainties of summer travel prompted our decision. Our priority remains the health and safety of those whom we serve and our staff as we continue to pray for the health and safety of everyone, everywhere.
Those interested in the workshop may find it helpful to explore Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Part 5 addresses issues in the care of the seriously ill and dying.
