The Bishops Committee on Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs consists of twenty five bishops who specialize in relations between Christians and inter-faith groups. The committee, currently headed by Bishop Denis J. Madden of Baltimore, is reestablished every three years.
The Secretariat of Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs exists to carry out the ongoing programs and plans of the bishops' committee. It consists of six full-time staff members, aided by part-time consultants and interns. We invite you to visit the following pages for more information.
