Each marker on the map represents a "home mission" diocese. These dioceses lack the resources to provide basic pastoral ministry to their populations. Through annual grants, Catholic Home Missions funds catechesis, seminarian education, lay ministry training, Hispanic ministry, and other pastoral programs in these needy dioceses.
To see more information, click on a marker. You will see the diocese name, population, grant amount, and areas of need funded by the grant. Go to the diocese's website to get more detailed information on their programs. All the home missions dioceses are listed below. To view a map with each diocese's boundaries, see our Mission Territory, USA map.
If you have questions or would like materials, please firstname.lastname@example.org or call 202-541-3346.
Thank you for your support of the home missions!
