Mid-Atlantic Dialogue

Spring 2014 Report

A group of almost twenty scholars came together April 2-3 to discuss various aspects of Secularism that affect both religious groups.  Read the Report from the Spring 2014 Mid-Atlantic Dialogue.

First convened in 1998, the Mid-Atlantic Dialogue meets once a year, co-chaired by Bishop Knestout of the Archdiocese of Washington and Dr. Talat Sultan of The Islamic Circle of North America

Muslim participants include representatives from the Islamic Circle of North America and local Islamic communities while Catholic participants include a local bishop and representatives from the local Catholic diocese.  The dialogue is staffed for the SEIA by Dr. Anthony Cirelli.
