Diocesan seminarians in Columbia thank the Catholic faithful and the bishops of the United States for assisting to provide an enriching learning environment for their studies. The Collection for the Church in Latin America provided the seminary with the ability to grow and provide better services for their students.

Collection for the Church in Latin America Inspires All to "Share Your Faith"

The annual national Collection for the Church in Latin America (CLA) will be the weekend of January 25-26. The 2014 campaign highlights the faith of Latin America and the many opportunities we have to share faith with them. We also recognize the tremendous benefit of having them in the Church and the revitalization their fervor brings to the faith. In addition to offering our help and support to the Catholics of Latin America, we have much to learn from them.

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops invite you to aid our faithful brothers and sisters in the Catholic Church of Latin America. To learn more about who the collection benefits, review the information below or visit How to Give to participate this January.

During their meeting on March13, the Subcommittee approved over $1.7 million in grants for 127 projects, which will help Latin American and Caribbean countries, including  Mexico, Brazil, and Honduras. Read more in the press release. (Spanish here)
