These internships occur in around thirty CCHD diocesan offices in the United States, as well as in the CCHD office of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) and the office of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities (ACCU) in Washington, DC. |

Each year, there is one Summer Internship (30 hrs/week) and one Fall internship (15 hrs/week) available at the CCHD office of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). There is also one internship position available for 7 to 8 hours/week during the school year (fall and spring) with the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities (ACCU).. Preference will be given to applications received by March 1, 2012, for these positions.
At the CCHD office of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), the intern will assist the education unit with youth/young adult programs. The intern will have the opportunity to assist with other projects in the education, resource development, grants, and communication units as needed and as intern interests dictate. Work projects may entail phone interviews, research, and writing.
The CCHD intern at the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities (ACCU) assists in promoting CCHD and Catholic social teaching awareness at Catholic colleges and helping diocesan offices connect with contacts at Catholic colleges and universities in the United States.
