In November 2012, the Secretariat for Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs hosted a program called "Generations of Faith II," attended by a representative group of leaders and young adults from the Muslim, Hindu, Sikh and Catholic traditions. The goal of the event was to foster a network of collaboration and establish ties of friendship by introducing members of world religions to one another's traditions. The agenda included small group discussions, prayer services, and presentations on the art of listening, respectful dialogue and interreligious cooperation. By seeking common ground while engaging in respectful conversation about our differences, we hope to foster a society of peace and mutual understanding.
