Pope Francis has accepted the resignation of the Most Reverend John R. Manz, 75, from the Office of Auxiliary Bishop of Chicago.

WASHINGTON—Pope Francis has accepted the resignation of the Most Reverend John R. Manz, 75, from the Office of Auxiliary Bishop of Chicago.

The resignation was publicized in Washington on July 1, 2021 by Archbishop Christophe Pierre, apostolic nuncio to the United States.
