A preliminary meeting to discuss the development of future relations between the Roman Catholic Church and the United Presbyterian Church in the U.S.A. will be held here Tuesday, July 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Georgetown Presbyterian Church, 3115 P Street, N.W.
The third set of conversations between Roman Catholics and Protestant denominations, the Roman Catholic-United Presbyterian gathering will mark the first time that women have been included in official delegations of the Roman Catholic and Protestant churches. Three women - - one Roman Catholic, two United Presbyterian - - will be official members of the two delegations.
