Statement on Unity and Eucharist
This statement, issued in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the dialogue between the Roman Catholic Church and the Polish National Catholic Church, reflects the deep gratitude, renewed understanding, and enduring hope that have marked four decades of conversation and reconciliation. Highlighting significant historical milestones, substantial agreements on the Eucharist, and the healing gestures that have brought the two Churches closer together, the document affirms the profound spiritual bonds already shared and the commitment to continued progress toward full communion. While acknowledging the challenges that remain, it celebrates the remarkable unity that has emerged through the Holy Spirit’s guidance and expresses a shared resolve to persevere faithfully on the path toward the complete unity desired by Christ.
