Statements of Diocesan Bishops on Sports and the Connection to the Catholic Faith
Several Catholic bishops from across the United States have shared their wisdom, insights, and teachings on the connection between sports, athletes, and the faith. What is included on this particular resource page is a collection of some of those statements and resources. Many of these were developed by each bishop within his diocese or as representative of another organization or program. They are not documents or resources of the USCCB broadly but are shared here for reference and as an aid for local faith communities in engaging within the mission field of sports and athletics.
