The Religions for Peace-USA Executive Council met under the Interim Executive Director, Dr. Tarunjit Butalia of the Sikh tradition, in Washington, DC on November 18. They were hosted by the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism.
Those present at the meeting discussed the topic of immigration and the response of faith communities. They also heard from Ms. Kirsten Evans, Director of Center for Faith & Opportunity Initiative at USAID. The rest of the day was spent discussing the organization and work of Religions for Peace-USA.
