Meeting of the United Methodist Church– United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Dialogue

The United Methodist Church– United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ (USCCB) Dialogue met May 14-16, 2019 in Philadelphia, PA. The meeting took place at Historic St. George’s United Methodist Church, the oldest continually used Methodist church building in the United States. During this multi-meeting round of the Dialogue, the members chose to create useable resources in celebration of 50 years of dialogue between these churches. Work on the last two resources continued during this session and will continue digitally throughout the summer. It is hoped the final drafts will be sent to the United Methodist Council of Bishops and USCCB Committee for Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs in September.
