The objective of this resource is to offer catechists the opportunity to:

• reflect and talk about the vision and mission of Jesus as he proclaimed it and the commitment of the Church to continue this mission by being a visible sign and instrument of communion with God and unity for the entire human race
• consider the catechetical implications of this commitment in light of “The New Evangelization” proposed by John Paul II
