National Young Adult Ministry Summit 2019 program book
"Rooting Young Adult Ministry: Vocation Discernment, Signs of the Times, Synodality"
This Summit gathers "co-workers in the vineyard" from across the United States like you to listen, converse, and engage each other in the present realities of the field and to continue to dream of for the future. We are coming off a tremendous year in the world of young adult ministry, capped by the release of Pope Francis' post-synodal apostolic exhortation, Christus Vivit. This document allows us to continue the conversation started with the 2018 Synod and to find news ways forward in implementing its key concepts, especially as they relate to young adults in their late teens, 20s and 30s. This Summit will focus on "Rooting Young Adult Ministry," which means exploring possibilities for further integrating the themes of Christus Vivit into our parishes, schools, universities, dioceses, and apostolates, and allowing young adults to truly take the lead.
