Dear Mons. Parteli:
Through Juan Raul Ferreira, son of Wilson Ferreira Aldunate, we have learned of the despicable act that resulted in the death of Sra. Cecile Fontana de Heber, wife of Senator Mario Heber.
I would be grateful if you would communicate our sincerest condolences to Senator Heber and assure him that he and his family have a special place in our prayers.
As the enclosed copy of a letter from our Office of International Justice and Peace indicates, we have urged the Government of Uruguay to conduct a thorough investigation of this heinous crime.
