The NFP Forum is published biannually. Its purpose is to serve the Roman Catholic diocesan NFP Programs of the United States through offering: national and international news of NFP activity; articles on Church teachings; NFP methodology; related topics; and providing a forum for sharing strategies in program development.
In this issue we celebrate forty years of the papal encyclical Humanae Vitae. This landmark encyclical provides a detailed teaching of God’s vision of conjugal love and responsible parenthood. It represents the first time in the history of the Catholic Church that specific guidance on the moral means for married couples to live those beliefs was articulated. We are happy to provide the reflections of several national NFP leaders on this encyclical.
