A Celebration of "The Gospel of Life" with the Holy Father
June 15-16, 2013 in Rome
As part of the Year of Faith, the Pontifical Council for the New Evangelization designated June 15-16 as days of celebration of “Evangelium Vitae,” encyclical by Blessed John Paul II on the Gospel of Life.
Events included: an Educational Conference on The Gospel of Life and the New Evangelization, featuring a Keynote Address by His Eminence Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke; a Holy Hour for Life celebrated by His Excellency Archbishop Joseph Augustine Di Noia, O.P.; and the weekend concluded with a Papal Mass in St. Peter’s Square on Sunday with Pope Francis.
These events in Rome provided the faithful the chance to gather, affirm and celebrate the dignity of human
