Mass Readings for the Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church
On February 11, 2018, the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments inscribed a new obligatory Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church, into the General Roman Calendar. This memorial is celebrated every year on the Monday after Pentecost.
The Congregation confirmed the English translation of the proper liturgical texts, including Lectionary readings for use at Mass, on January 13, 2022. (Interim texts from the Mexican Leccionario are provided for Spanish, as a separate approval and confirmation process is still required for the definitive Spanish translation.)
