The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops accompanies those who evangelize and minister with young adults on a journey of encounter, community, and missionary discipleship by: 

  • Advancing the bishops’ vision and framework for Catholic young adult ministry in the United States 
  • Providing support and consultation to dioceses and national organizations 
  • Developing resources for the field 
  • Serving as a liaison to and collaboration with national initiatives and networks that further the bishops vision for ministry 
  • National coordination of the United States participation in World Youth Day
