Pope Leo XIV invites the world to Seoul

At the concluding Mass for the 2025 Jubilee of Young People in Rome, Pope Leo XIV announced the dates of and invited the world's youth and young adults to the next international World Youth Day experience: August 3-8, 2027, in Seoul, Korea. WYD 2027 will be the first to take place in on mainland Asia. Korea has a growing Catholic population of about 11 percent, or 6 million believers.
